This year, the Oregon State Fair celebrates Oregon’s 150th birthday!
At Edible Portland, one thing we’re excited about this year are the food arts competitions. The Northwest Best BBQ Competition runs for three straight days and nights, Aug 28-Aug 30. Thirty cooking teams will compete for Best Ribs, Best Pork, Best Briskett and more.
Edible Portland’s own recipe editor Lola Milholland gets the honor of serving as a judge for The Best Oregon Marionberry Pie contest on August 28th. She’s disappointed she can’t enter her own pie, but she can’t wait to devour the 30 pies waiting for her!
