Oregon’s apple and pear harvest is wrapping up. Not only is the Hood River Valley famous for its tree fruits, but its family farms have rich family histories as well. In this EP on AM Northwest segment, we visit Kiyokawa Family Orchards, where they grow 78 different varieties of apples, and take a closer look at the apple harvest.

Edible Portland stories are now on KATU’s AM Northwest. Brought to you by Food Services of America.
