Since 2009, Edible Portland has recognized local food heroes for fostering Portland’s sustainable food culture. This year, Edible Portland will continue the tradition by honoring six outstanding members of the Pacific Northwest food and farming community with Local Hero Awards. We invite you to nominate those who exemplify high standards in their social and environmental practices, food sourcing, regional economic impact, and commitment to promoting a sustainable food system in the following categories: Farm, Restaurant, Food Artisan, Beverage Artisan, Nonprofit, and Retailer.
How to Nominate a Local Hero
Please submit your nomination by January 31, 2013 with the following information via email to email@example.com:
- Your full name, phone, e-mail and affiliation
