Breakfast Crepes à la Ben Davis

Don’t be intimidated; crepes are easy to make. They will taste as good as the eggs you use. Adapted from a recipe in Piper Davis and Ellen Jackson’s The Grand Central Baking Book, these crepes are a delightful way to begin your day.

August 26 – Back-to-Farm-to-School Day

Load up on potatoes, peaches and more on Wednesday, August 26, when three Whole Foods Market locations will be donating 5% of net sales to Ecotrust’s Farm to School program.

Our Farm to School program works on a wide-range of initiatives that enable schools to feature healthy, locally sourced products in their cafeterias, incorporate nutrition-based curriculum in all academic disciplines, and provide students with experiential agriculture and food-based learning opportunities.

Please come out and fill your cart in support of healthy, regional food for school kids. Invite your friends and family to join you! Visit any of these Portland locations to participate:

PEARL: 12th & NW Couch
LAURELHURST: 28th & E Burnside
FREMONT: 15th & NE Fremont
