Breakfast Crepes à la Ben Davis

Don’t be intimidated; crepes are easy to make. They will taste as good as the eggs you use. Adapted from a recipe in Piper Davis and Ellen Jackson’s The Grand Central Baking Book, these crepes are a delightful way to begin your day.

Nov 27-29 – Wine Country Thanksgiving

November 27-29, 2009
Many wineries are open 11am to 5pm.
A complete listing of wineries is available at Willamette Valley Wineries Association

This event offers a great opportunity for wine lovers to support their local vineyards and wineries and to see first-hand many of Willamette Valley’s small, family-owned wineries rarely open to the public. Meet the faces behind the wine! Taste from the barrel with winemakers. Sample new releases and library wines. Enjoy sumptuous, local food pairings and live music.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, Willamette Valley Wineries are supporting Yamhill Community Action Partnership (YCAP). Visitors to wine country can help YCAP build a new Yamhill County Food Bank by contributing at participating Yamhill County Wineries.
