More than 3,000 people cast their votes for the 7th annual Local Hero Awards. On June 12, renowned local chefs put their culinary brilliance toward preparing summer’s best barbecue, sourced directly from our region’s most sustainable producers. Nell Newman of Newman’s Own Organics spoke to the power of social enterprise and then announced the winners of this year’s awards. All proceeds benefited Ecotrust’s work to build a resilient regional food system.
Congratulations, Local Hero Award Winners!
What are the Local Hero Awards?
