Podcast: The Undefinable Sisters with Liz Calderon and Linda Colwell

Print Friendly

This is the first episode of our experimental new segment, I Want to Know What You Know. In it, we pass off the hosting duties to someone who we respect and admire. They then choose someone who they find inspiring, intriguing, or even confusing to find out “what you know.”

In this first episode, we asked special projects coordinator extraordinaire Liz Calderon to host. She chose chef Linda Colwell as her guest, and they talk about what it means to be undefinable, the impulse to say “yes,” engaging kids in cooking, cow’s tongues, eating dumplings in the middle of the night, and more.

We also unleash a new segment featuring our title sponsor and collaborator, OSU Metro Extension, called “This Just In” where an OSU Extension faculty member answers a relevant question. Let us know what you think about the episode on the Underground Airwaves Facebook page.

Chris Seigel is the host of Underground Airwaves. He also co-manages Wealth Underground, a small farm nestled in the hills of Northwest Portland, and manages the St. Johns Farmers Market.

Thank you to Metro Extension.
Life. Get good at it.
